for 1994, 23in. nitro barrel gold-inlaid in gothic script 'J. Rigby & Co., London', file cut sight rib with open sights and two folding leaf sights, inlaid sight lines and marked for 100, 200 and 300 yards, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the receiver (with thumb cutout) mounted with a Zeiss Diavari-Z 1,5-6x42 T* telescopic sight, serial no. 453244, in colour-hardened quickly-detachable mounts, colour-hardened rings engraved 'J. RIGBY & CO. LONDON' and 'CAL .375 NO. 6818', receiver ring carved in relief with bold foliate motifs surrounding a central banner engraved with the calibre designation, colour-hardened cocking piece with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' and arrow, the bolt handle with oval chequered panels and central floral motif, floral-engraved and colour-hardened recoil blocks, hinged straddle floorplate with push button release, blued finish, the floorplate with border engraving and with a roundel relief engraved and gold-inlaid with a tiger's head, signed 'KC Hunt' and also with the calibre designation in gold, the triggerguard gold-inlaid with the serial number, highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, engraved and colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap with trap gold-inlaid with the Rigby 'double R' trademark, sling swivels, 14 3/4in. pull including 7/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 10lb. 9oz.
